Summer is coming, and with it, starts the festival high season.
Every size and for all kind of people and music lovers, trough out the Valencian community. different styles festivals and with different offers that gives us the opportunity to discover this area at the same time that we enjoy different types of bands.
MAY At the end of this month we have the
Spring Festival in Alicante, this festival boasts on national talents, Fangoria, Rozalén and Love of Lesbian lead this urban style show.
JULY The festival month by excellence starts with the
Music Port Fest in Sagunto port, from 6th to 7th July. Between Valencia and Castellón this festival ,mixes national bands with other international artists like Mando Diao.
A completely different choice is
Feslloch, celebrated between 11th and 13th July in Benlloch (Castellón). Music in the Valencian language and other kind of offers that go beyond music.
On the same dates one of the biggest days in electronic music in the summer arrives, the
Marenostrum Music Festival celebrated in la Marina sur from Valencia. This festival comes back with a new location and with lots of artists such as Dannic, Feysh, Gian Varela, Jay Hardway, Mike Williams and Third Party.
After a few days we have one of the highlights of the music season, not only in the community , but also in the whole of Europe. The
FIB of Benicassim this year includes as main performers Lana del Rey, Kings of Leon, Fatboy Slim or Vetusta Morla as a national reference. This festival is celebrated from the 18th to 21st July. As soon as this one finishes, the
Low Festival comes to Benidorm, where we´ll see together bands such as Foals, Basteille, New Order, The Vaccines or again, Vetusta Morla, from 26th to 28th July in the sports complex Guillermo Amor.
AUGUST Just when the Low festival finishes, Burriana (Castellón) celebrates the
Arenal Sound, one of the best attended festivals in Spain, the event will take place from 30th July to 4th august and features artists like Martin Garrix, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Don Diablo, or Vetusta Morla performing in all the Valencian community festivals.
In the second half of his month Benicassim Is converted in to the epicenter of Reggae, the
Rototom Sunsplush from 16th to 22nd August, Among the confirmed artists , Ziggy Marley, Chronixx, Busy Sognal o Morgan Heritage.
